Every Size Under the Sun
Why Size-Inclusive Rings Matter (And Why I Make Them All)

There’s a quiet heartbreak that doesn’t get talked about enough in jewelry.
It’s falling in love with a ring... and realizing it was never made for you.
If you’ve ever thought “I have weird fingers,”
or “nothing ever fits me,”
or “this is beautiful… but not in my size,”
you’re not alone.
And you’re not the problem.

The Jewelry World Was Built for “Standard”… Not for Real Hands
Most jewelry brands build their sizing around averages. Not bodies. Not seasons. Not real life.
But hands aren’t standard. Hands change with time. They swell in summer. They shift with hormones. They carry babies. They carry groceries. They carry stories.
Some hands have larger knuckles. Some fingers are petite but swell easily. Some people need wide bands that fit differently than thin ones. And yet, so many ring collections still stop at a small range of “common sizes,” as if that’s all that exists.
Standard sizing was built for efficiency.
Not for real people.

If you’ve struggled with rings, you probably know exactly what I mean. It’s trying on a ring that almost fits… and hoping it stretches a little. It’s wearing something that leaves marks, pinches, or feels tight by the end of the day.
It’s falling in love with a design, then seeing the words “sizes 6–8 only.” It’s the way your confidence drops when you have to ask:
“Do you carry larger sizes?”
“Can this be resized?”
“Is there any way this could work for me?”
And sometimes… it’s the quiet belief that your hands are the issue. But they’re not.
Your hands are real. Your hands are alive. Your hands deserve beauty, too.

Ring size isn’t just a number. It’s affected by:
So if you’ve ever felt like your size “doesn’t make sense,” or changes depending on the day…
That’s normal.
Real bodies don’t stay the same.

At Bonfire Jewelry Design, size inclusivity isn’t a marketing phrase.
It’s how I work at the bench. I create sterling silver rings in:
If you love a ring, I will make it for you.
Because no one should have to pass on a piece of wearable art simply because their body wasn’t considered.

When a ring is made in your real size, everything changes.
It doesn’t pinch.
It doesn’t spin.
It doesn’t feel like something you’re “making work.”
It feels like it belongs on your hand. Like it was made for you—because it was.
And that matters more than people realize.
Because jewelry isn’t just decoration.
Jewelry is identity. It’s self-expression. It’s the feeling of being seen. When your ring fits correctly, you stop thinking about it all day. You just live in it.

Let this be your reminder:
You don’t have to fit yourself into jewelry.
Jewelry should fit you.
If you see a ring you love, don’t wonder if it’ll fit.
It will.
Because I create every size under the sun.
✨ And if you’re not sure what size you need, send me a message, I’m always happy to help.
I offer ring sizes 2 through 14, including half sizes and quarter sizes. If you don’t see your exact size listed, feel free to reach out, I can almost always accommodate it.
Swelling is completely normal, especially with heat, travel, hormones, or physical activity.
If your fingers swell often, I recommend sizing slightly up or choosing a style that feels comfortable throughout the day. If you’re unsure, you can message me and I’ll help you decide.
Yes! Wide band rings usually feel tighter than thin bands, even in the same size.
That’s why I take extra care with sizing wide bands. If you’re ordering a wider style, you may need to size up slightly for comfort.
That is extremely common.
In that case, you may need a size that fits over the knuckle while still feeling secure on the finger. I can help you choose the best size, and certain ring styles are better for this than others.
The most accurate way is to use a ring sizer, but you can also measure an existing ring or use a printable sizing guide.
If you’re unsure, I’m happy to guide you through it. You can also add a ring sizer to your order or request help before purchasing.
If you’ve ever said “nothing fits me” when it comes to rings…
You’re in the right place.
